How to Measure & Find Your Perfect Fit
Before You Start
- · Use a soft fabric measuring tape —not a metal tape measure
- · Wear lightweight clothing or measure directly on your skin
- · Stand naturally —do not hold your breath or suck in your stomach
- · Keep the tape snug but not tight —it should lie flat without digging in
- · Measure twice for accuracy
How to Measure Yourself
Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, across the nipple line. Keep the tape parallel to the floor. Wear a non-padded bra.
Underbust
Measure directly under your bust where a bra band would sit. Keep the tape snug and level.
Natural Waist
Find your natural waist —the narrowest point of your torso, just above your belly button. Bend sideways; the crease that forms is your natural waist.
Lower Belly
Measure around the fullest part of your lower abdomen, approximately 2-3 inches below your belly button.
Hips
Stand with feet together. Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, typically 7-9 inches below your natural waist.
Torso Length
Start at the top of your shoulder. Run the tape down the front, over the bust, to your crotch. Critical for bodysuits.
Thigh
Measure around the widest part of your upper thigh, just below the buttocks. For full body shapers and leggings.
